SEO Checklist for Ecommerce Brands: March Edition

SEO Checklist for Ecommerce brands March Edition.jpg

I know we’re only just having our first tastes of Spring, but if you’re running an online store, your mind should already be well in to planning for summer☀️.

Especially when it comes to your SEO.

Why?

If you don’t already know, SEO is a bit of a long game. Changes you make today can take 2 months MINIMUM to start taking affect.

This means that if Summer is your peak selling time (or even if it isn’t!) you need to be making changes to website NOW to reap the rewards in June and July.

With that in mind, here’s my SEO checklist for eCom brands this March🤓:

Start getting your summer products live on the website as soon as you can. Don’t have the physical stock yet? Consider adding pre-order option to your product pages.

The sooner your product pages are live, the sooner they can be indexed by Google and start appearing in peoples searches.

✅ The same goes for summer landing pages and blog posts. You want them to be live and indexed ready to be picked up by those early searchers.

Banish winter! This should go without saying, but have you checked your site and removed references to winter yet?...Or dare I say CHRISTMAS!😬

I know it can be hard to keep track of all of the content on your site, so it makes sense to schedule some regular time to give it a once over to make sure there aren’t any seasonal blunders!

Hope you find this useful!

As ever, if you have any questions about any of my tips, just drop me an email.✌️✨
