Why I love working with ecommerce brands

This week I wanted to take a moment to talk about why it is that I love working with ecommerce brands.

It all started when I built my first website as part of my Fashion Marketing degree back in the mid-noughties (yep, old!👵), and I’ve been hooked on Ecommerce ever since!

Since then I've built my career working solely in ecom ðŸ’–

From UK-based startups to a global FTSE 250 brand, as well as a kids clothing brand of my very own along the way. I’ve worked with Shoes... Homeware... Fashion... Stationary... Kidswear and even Electronic components, but that’s another story!😬

And now, many moons later, ecommerce remain my favourite!

Here’s why:

Online shopping never stands still. 

From new features, new products, new platforms and now the introduction of Shop AI, the world of ecom is ALWAYS moving forward. Making it a pretty exciting area to work in.

✨Product based websites are content goldmines✨

With product pages for days, landing pages, collection pages, seasonal updates, new ranges..there’s always something that needs optimising on an ecommerce website, making them an SEO geeks playground!

✨So. Much. Data!✨

With so many pages comes so much data! 

Keyword queries, search rankings, bounce rates, conversion rates, it can be tricky to keep up. Helping clients navigate all of the numbers into something meaningful never gets old!

Since working for myself I feel honoured every time a founder chooses me to trust with their greatest business asset.

I’ve met so many amazing business owners and really care about the success of the brands I work with.

I also love the fact that the people I work with are as passionate about the products they sell as I am about all things ecom.
