Here's what to prioritise this month:
Gift Cards & Digital Gifts
If you sell gift cards, vouchers, or downloadable 'instant' products that can be bought right up to the last moment, make sure you've made them VISIBLE.
Add them to your homepage, include them in "Last Minute Shopping" categories, and watch them fly out in the final shopping week when physical delivery isn't guaranteed.Next-Day Delivery prominence
Make your fast delivery options impossible to miss. Add "next day delivery available" or "order today, receive tomorrow" to product titles and descriptions.
Desperate last-minute shoppers are specifically filtering searches for speedy delivery options.Get your New Year content ready
Try to get your January sale pages, New Year product collections, and "New Year, New You" content published before Christmas, so that search engines can be indexing and ranking them while you're busy opening pressies. Ready for the massive traffic spike on Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
